'Not anymore.Heated Rivalry, the second book in the Game Changers series by Racheal Reid, follows Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov through a ten year journey of conflicted passion. One of the most interesting aspects of this novel is Reid’s ability to produce a romantically bittersweet story while fully encapsulating the complexity of queer relationships. I find stories like this so important to read because not only does it provide representation for queer communities, but it also is just a beautiful and poignant story that drills itself straight into your heart. While the book, and series as a whole, is intended for very mature audiences with its adult content, I still whole-heartedly recommend it for any readers who are interested in stories centered around queer men.
