Social Media & Designer in the Arts
Job Description
It will strengthen the student's skills in writing, designing, event logistics and promotion. Students have the opportunity to bring their own strengths in these areas to craft this internship toward their own strengths in these areas. In the past, students--not always artists or designers--have worked in the Visual Arts with great success and satisfaction. We welcome these strengths and skills in the form the intern offers.
Year 1
Responsibility/Function
- Orientation to Visual Arts program with the two existing senior interns into promotional and reporting roles of the position:
- Existing responsibilities that will be mentored by Senior FITs:
- 乐播传媒视频 public calendar (google)
- Monthly Newsletter
- Manage social media: IG/FB etc.
- Design of newsletters, posters for events.
- Oversee logistics of events:
- Movies at the Muffin (3 per semester)
- Muffin Exhibition (end of each semester)
- Senior exhibition at Bristol Art Museum
- Exhibitions at the Campus Gallery in SHAE
Year 2
Responsibility/Function
- Will be working on their own to maintain and build on the items of year one.
- Working with VARTS chair and Art on Campus Coordinator:
- 乐播传媒视频 VARTS public calendar (google)
- Monthly Newsletter
- Manage social media: IG/FB etc.
- Design of newsletters, posters for events.
- Oversee logistics of events:
- Movies at the Muffin (3 per semester)
- Muffin Exhibition (end of each semester)
- Senior exhibition at Bristol Art Museum
- Exhibitions at the Campus Gallery in SHAE
Year 3
Responsibility/Function
- Mentor Sophomore student(s) in the duties of the job.
- Work in the areas built on each year.
- Working with VARTS chair and Art on Campus Coordinator:

*Students are prohibited from driving during work-study employment with the limited exception of authorized work-study driver positions.
